Citizen Engagement: Encouraging behaviour change through the Digital Social Market

To solve problems around air quality, material consumption, transport and energy use, cities must change. They need to lead on green issues and bring their citizens with them. As such, it’s vital for city authorities, businesses and citizens to have a closer dialogue.

One way to enable this is the Digital Social Market, a solution developed by Future Cities Catapult/Connected Places Catapult and Sharing Cities, a €24 million EU-funded Smart Cities project led by the Greater London Authority in partnership with six major European cities.

This session will run through: - The fundamental concepts of the Digital Social Market - Insights and challenges to maintaining sustained citizen engagement - Adapting the tool and finding new purpose during times of crisis
