Delivering (how-when-what capacity and for who?) high speed broadband has been the main topic all around the world ever since 2001. European Commission, BEREC, the Member States, FCC in America and the other key decision makers have created policy guidelines, various strategies involving country leaderships, telco operators and other players in the industry. We are in 2020 and the topic of delivering high speed broadband is still up, more extensively than ever. Have the last 20 years of actions, delivery plans succeeded? There is still a lot to do in order to reach global coverage for future proof broadband. In the meantime new players emerge claiming to solve the global coverage problem for all.
